History of AutoCAD and how to learn AutoCAD

 What is AutoCAD

AutoCAD is a 2D or3D computer-aided drafting software used for creating blueprints in architecture, construction, or manufacturing. also, it is used in engineering plants.

The person who uses it professionally is known as Draughter. AutoCAD was created by the Autodesk company and was introduced in the market by Autodesk itself. this first cad

It was a program designed to run on a personal computer.

This program is named AutoCAD because of its function which automatically understands the command given by the user and then gives its output according to the need of the user. The drawings made in this will give your great detail and this picture explains the design.

It can be in 2D i.e. 2 dimensional like a plan in which we can see the arrangement of the room. Apart from this, we can also design as 3 dimensional in which we can see the pipe as a drawing.

As you already know that AutoCAD is created by Autodesk company which is capable of designing and creating solids of 2D and 3D models simultaneously.

Before aided drafting, manual or drafting tools such as drafting, border pencil, ink pen, compass, and triangle, etc. were used, but now programs like this are used for this type of works.

After the release of its original version in 1982, this software quickly became the most used program in the whole world. AutoCAD helps you to make the design of your choice as well as you can modify the created design and for this use 3D free form design tool.

And you can convert it to cinematic quality and animated presentation through 3D rendering. Apart from this software, Autodesk has also developed many variants, which are used in different special areas according to the work.

This program includes AutoCAD Architecture, Civil 3D, Electrical, MAP 3d, Mechanical Plant 3D, MEP P&ID, and AutoCAD LT.

History of AutoCAD

AutoCAD has been available in the market since 1982 making it the first card system developed for PC. It means that AutoCAD has been around longer than Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Windows.

Earlier in the 70s, commercial programs ran on mainframe computers or minicomputers. Each user worked on 1 different graphic terminal. If it was not possible for the designer to have access to these, the old school drafting used to draw the square using the square.

It used to take days or even weeks to make new drawings and then do calculations. Imagine how much technical calculations and calculators and mathematical tables had to be used to support this much. The worst thing was that there used to be minor errors in it, which was very difficult to stop.

Autodesk, the company that brought Auto CAD, was founded in 1982 by John Walker.

jointly with 15 of his company's founders, he started working on five different automation applications and for this, he hoped that perhaps one of these applications would definitely run in the market.

It happened that the Auto CAD program created by him became successful in the market.

in March 1986, only 4 years after it was introduced, the application AutoCAD had become the most widely used design application worldwide and since then still, it is a popular drafting application. Right now this program has completed almost 35 years and during this time it has progressed continuously.

In reality, 31 versions have been made from December 1982 till today. It used many innovative new features in this application to capture all the areas related to the design. This software supports APIs, so that customization and optimization are also made in it and for this reason, new features have also been added to it like AutoCAD, Architecture, Electrical, and Civil, are being used.

For 5 years ago, Autodesk also created mobile and cloud-based applications in which they created AutoCAD 360, Fusion 360, and A360 viewer. In these programs, the Design for Documentation tool was kept together as well as it also gave the facility to share them using the Internet.

Use of AutoCAD

This program was initially made for mechanical engineers but very soon it was used in every field. Rather, say that the success of AutoCAD happened because most of the design professionals who use it include architects, project managers, animators, and engineers.

Construction

Construction is the area where AutoCAD is used the most.

Autodesk Building Design Suite is software that provides the 3D design of buildings as well as building information modeling and combines multiple tools to create design visualization, stimulating and easy-to-work design of core construction engineers.

If we take an example, the biggest example of how AutoCAD works successfully is the construction of the Shanghai Tower. The tower is a fairly complex structure and the developer quickly realized that traditional building methods, equipment, and other design software were unable to successfully meet the kin.

That's why the design offered by BIM helped the developers visualize the tower in 3D and work with a complete grasp of the tower's twisting structure.

Using BIM has helped the team in design analysis and decision making, as well as supervise energy analysis to build eco-friendly very tall buildings and save building materials.

Tower owners and developers credit BIMR AutoCAD for the successful construction of the building. From a property owner's point of view, BIM is a very effective tool for construction and management of the entire project as well as investment control.

Animation

It is not only the construction sector where AutoCAD is used, but it is still widely used in the field of entertainment. High-quality classic animations are created in the field of entertainment using 3D animation.

The toolset is used to create modern flexible graphic pipelines and visual effects allowing artists and models to push the limits of their creative abilities and scale their production and completion in the shortest amount of time.

How to run AutoCAD

Want to run AutoCAD and you have absolutely no idea about it. If you are wondering how to run it, then we are going to tell you this. Because those who do this course, are told all the things during the course about how they work in this program. The subjects covered under this, which are included in its syllabus, their theory as well as practicals are also done.

But those who do not do the AutoCAD course and want to learn through YouTube, then for this you need to have some basic knowledge of it, only then you can learn it online.

First of all, you have to install AutoCAD software on your computer. When its interface starts, then any user who is new, they do not understand at all what to do, for the first thing it is important to know is that what we see in its interface. is function. So let us know it steps by step.

Before we start drawing, you have to have a good grasp of its interface, which may take you 10 to 15 minutes, here we will tell you only the basics, If you want to learn you have to pay your attention.

Commands are mainly used in this software, so we are going to give you a list of commands using which you can run it very easily.

How to learn Autocad

With the help of the Autocad Course in Delhi, students are given a better understanding of 3D designing, and navigation and modeling tools are also explained to them to understand it. In the advanced course, students are taught topics like Lightning, Mapping Solid Model Creation.

If you are interested to learn AutoCAD from experts and upskill yourself  You can join Autocad Training Institute.
